Department of Nursing
In the discipline of nursing, we train personnel in excellent specialized knowledge and practical skills, and our philosophy is to contribute to the development of Nursing through progressive research that approaches the advancement of medicine. In particular, in order to conduct transnational research linking the clinical domain and research as well as communicate nursing studies of a high evidence based level incorporating interdisciplinary and scientific perspectives, we offer the four following fields:

We have developed nursing interventions to balance the treatment regimens on the juggling act. as patients and their families could maintain wellness and manage symptoms in remission.

Life Support System Development Nursing
By comprehensively understanding the aspects of nursing care required for the acute-stage care and home-care support of elderly patients, and those with dementia as well as their families, we develop methods and construct theories for care in view of the perspective of the environment and team approach.
We also study nursing care to promote mental health, as well as to reduce problems or difficulties in mental health, by focusing on human mind and behavior.

Family Health Care Nursing (CNS Program)
In the field of Family Nursing. we develop family intervention models which support the maintenance and enhancement of family functions and support families with children in adapting to a health crisis. We also train certified nurse specialists (CNS) in family health nursing in diagnosis and treatment.

Maternity Nursing Midwifery
The research philosophy of the field of Maternity Nursing is to announce research that can be returned to the clinical site based on evidence based nursing (EBN).
It centers on 'Perinatal period safety and quality assurance' to a wide range of management and business administration viewpoints. Also. education aiming to acquire national midwifery examination eligibility and a master's degree was started as a 'midwifery course" since FY2016.
