癌化学療法の個別化が発展するには、治療薬の効果予測に有用なバイオマーカーの解明と高精度の検査技術が欠かせません。近年、内分泌療法薬や分子標的治療薬の適応判定技術が普及し、投与の個別化が進んできました。一方で、従来の抗癌剤は内分泌療法薬や分子標的治療薬よりもはるかに多くの患者さんに投与されるにも関わらず、その適応判定法はいまだ未開発の状態です。従来の抗癌剤の個別化投与が実現すれば、副作用に苦しめられる患者さんは劇的に少なくなるに違いありません。当研究室では、全国屈指の免疫染色技術を生かし、抗癌剤の感受性を予測する研究(病理学・免疫組織化学を基盤とした臨床研究)を続けています。病理学に対する熱意を持ち、真剣に取り組む学部学生、大学院生の参加を歓迎します。 |
