Nursing Major

Nursing science is a practical field that has the goal of comprehensive support and promotion of a healthy lifestyle for individuals and families in local communities and in international society, through interaction with the environment and a respect for human dignity and individuality.

 

Medical Technology Major

Clinical inspections are a core area in modern medicine. Professionals with these skills have a central position in team medical care, which is a new development in medicine.

 

Physical Therapy Major

Those who major in physical therapy acquire the ability to view conventional physical therapy from a scientific perspective. This major aims to foster professionals who can conduct effective physical therapy based on scientific grounds.

 

Occupational Therapy Major

Medical care, healthcare and welfare policies now place an emphasis on respect for individual human rights and support of independence, in step with international trends, and occupational therapists must be able to work in this environment.

 

Basic Allied Medicine Department

The Basic Allied Medicine Department has three professors and three associate professors: Professor Matsumura (biochemistry and molecular biology), Professor Tsutou (analysis of physical movement and kinesitherapy), Professor Ando (physiology and pathophysiology), Associate Professor Konishi (virology), Associate Professor Miura (sports medicine and rehabilitation medicine), and Associate Professor Okimura (clinical pathology and endocrinology).
